James Hyde
Chief Executive Officer
Jim is responsible for defining the overall business strategy for ProDev, and he also devotes significant time to sales and operations. Jim brings more than 25 years of experience to the firm. He previously served as CEO of Surge, another software consultancy, and he has also held executive positions at Remedy, In-Store Broadcasting Network, and Overstock. Jim holds an engineering Ph.D. from Stanford (and a B.S.) and a M.S. from MIT. Jim lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Tyler Schroeder
VP of Engineering
Tyler is responsible for building and managing the engineering group at ProDev. Before ProDev, he grew the engineering organization at Surge, another consulting company, from 1 (he was the very first Surge contractor) to 300 senior remote-based engineers. Tyler focuses on building engineering teams that have a business sensibility, and on finding engineers who have the business acumen to apply their talents effectively for clients. Tyler holds a Management Information Systems degree from Western Washington University. Tyler lives in Bellingham, Washington.
Jonathan Martin
VP of Infrastructure
Jonathan is responsible for managing and improving all aspects of the ProDev IT systems as well as leading our DevOps group. Prior to ProDev he was the Director of IT at Surge and he had stints in the high performance computing, telecom and domain registration industries. Jonathan excels at building teams that have a passion for efficiency and automation. He’s an advocate of enabling client self-service and maintaining strong lines of communication with engineering teams. Jonathan holds a B.S in Computer Science from the Univeristy of Louisiana at Lafayette. Jonathan is a native of New Orleans.
Donovan Stevens
VP of Operations
Donovan is responsible for Client relationships and engagement success. Additionally, he focuses energy on business development and staffing delivery functions. Donovan brings 25 years of experience to ProDev across Development, Training, and Executive functions. As a Services Executive, he is passionate about finding the right talent for the right work and ensuring that Client and Engineers experience the best possible outcomes. Donovan holds a B.S. from Caltech and an Ed.M. from Harvard. The Stevens family currently resides near Boston, MA.
Vanessa Brown
Director of Talent Acquisition
Vanessa is responsible for ensuring that our talent acquisition infrastructure, processes, and operations are efficient at vetting current developers and bringing in the best resources. Vanessa brings 13 years of experience in Human Resources, Staffing and Recruiting with a focus on technical talent. Her specialties include building and growing talent acquisition teams and developing and defining and implementing TA strategies. Vanessa has a passion for finding the best fit for clients and ensuring that candidates are having the best experience possible as they onboard. Vanessa resides in Salt Lake City, Utah with her family.
